I’m Mark Cruz — a multidisciplinary designer and art director with a passion for creating visually compelling, strategically driven work. Design and music have been constants in my life. I’ve been a record collector and DJ since childhood, and my love for design was sparked by the bold, timeless album covers of Blue Note Records — particularly the iconic work of Reid Miles. His striking use of typography, layout, and photography left a lasting impression on me and set me on my creative path. While design became my profession, music has remained a significant part of my life. I produce and release work under the name QSTN, with tracks featured in videos and advertising campaigns across various platforms.
Over the years, I’ve partnered with leading brands in fashion, action sports, and entertainment — building creative across branding and identity, art direction, packaging, and product design. My clients include Formula 1®, Disney, Lucasfilm, Pendleton, and New Balance, among others. Running my own design consultancy for over a decade has allowed me to collaborate with brands of all sizes to develop thoughtful, impactful visual solutions. My goal is to create engaging, memorable work that builds a strong connection with your audience.
